Extraordinary means is a book written by Robyn Schneider, it was such a delightful read. Many people do say this book is very similar to John Green's novel, The Fault in our Stars, the only similarity is tragic love. Each character has their own unique personality.
If you like Rainbow Rowell and John Green, this book is most definitely for you.
Everyone at the Latham house has been diagnosed with Tuberculosis (TB), some worse then others. At that house, death is a consistent burden.
This book is told from duel point of views, Lane and Sadie! Lane was recently sent to Latham as a last resort, he then comes across Sadie, and we are then introduced to second chances and some people truly deserve them.
Given the circumstances of their life and how any moment can be their last, I love how respectively Robyn writes about this illness and how true she is to the way teens are in this generation.
This book destroyed my heart, due to the connection I made with them while reading, once the book ended I knew not only did an adventure end, but I lost my best friends, and how weird it sounds, it left me with an inspiration to not be afraid of myself and the world that holds extraordinary moments!
“That's all you can do in this world, no matter how strong the current beats against you, or how heavy your burden, or how tragic your love story. You keep going.” ― Robyn Schneider, Extraordinary Means
